Larry Berger, host of the Saturday Light Brigade Radio Show, after hearing Enzo play said, "He made that banjo sound like an orchestra!"
Growing up as a hard-working member of The Chiodi Trio aforded Enzo many opportunities, including being asked to play a tune in Disney World’s Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and being a staple at many of Pittsburgh’s most iconic stages, festivals, and venues. Travels outside of Pittsburgh included banjo and fretted instrument conventions all over the eastern and mid-western United States, including headlining a night of performers in both Branson, MO and Springfield, OH., and more festivals, including the Yankee Peddler Festival in Canal Fulton, OH.
As an undergrad he studied Music Composition at the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University, and he completed a master's degree at Berklee Valencia in Contemporary Performance (Production Concentration). While there he performed in notable festivals such as the Fronteras Festival and the Berklee La Fira Festival as well as leading a show at the Berklee Valencia concert series Lagos.
Currently he participates in a number of projects, including playing and leading Project Banjo, a collaboration pairing the banjo with various instruments and genres, as well as playing in solo shows all across the city. He also works as a side man in projects across the country.
He is constantly dreaming of other collaborations and chances to show what a banjo can do.
